Meet Ogri

18-year-old Ogri lives and works in Camden, where he is studying for an apprenticeship in Project Management at MDJV.

He said: “Having lived in Camden all my life, it’s so rewarding to be involved in such a high-profile project right on my doorstep. Before joining the project, I didn’t really know what I wanted to do, but I’ve gained an understanding of how versatile the construction industry is, and there is definitely something for everyone on a project of this size.”

Skills and Education

HS2 is delivering a programme of skills, education and employment activities to meet the requirements to build the railway and leave a legacy of a highly-skilled and diverse workforce to address challenges faced in the wider transport infrastructure sector.

Our Education Programme is vital to leaving a skills legacy from building and designing the new railway. We’ve developed a collection of resources to support teachers to bring a careers context to curriculum learning. They aim to inspire young people to take an interest in STEM subjects and careers.
